NEW YORK (Reuters) - U.S. stock index futures rose on Monday as investors welcomed details of a fiscal aid package for Greece and focused on a merger that would create the world's largest airline.

UAL, Continental to form largest airline

NEW YORK/CHICAGO (Reuters) - UAL Corp, parent of United Airlines, said it will buy Continental Airlines Inc for about $3.17 billion in stock, forming the world's largest carrier and further shrinks the U.S. airline industry.
