Give4Good-Greater Charlottesville

The Charlottesville Area Community Foundation (CACF) is sponsoring Give4Good - Greater Charlottesville, an online Giving Day on May 6, 2014. This event is part of Give Local America, a national day of giving that commemorates the 100^th anniversary of community foundations.

Give4Good - Greater Charlottesville will allow participating nonprofits to raise funds, and leverage them by tapping into financial incentives and event promotion. The Center for Nonprofit Excellence (CNE) will be hosting sessions on social media, donor outreach and engagement for agencies. There is no fee for agency participation.



Giving days raise significant nonprofit funding and community awareness across the country; they are a wonderful, straightforward opportunity for nonprofits to engage current and new donors in an organization's work (agencies have averaged 20% new donors from similar events).
